Paris, France
The AITF (Association of Territorial Engineers of France) brings together over 4,000 engineers and technical managers working within local authorities (cities, intercommunalities, metropolises, departments, regions) and their public institutions: For over 80 years, it has been promoting technical professions in the service of the public interest: territorial planning, urban planning, environment, mobility, energy, buildings, digital technology, civil or mechanical engineering. The AITF is both: A professional network that promotes the exchange of experiences between local authority engineers and future engineers; A place for reflection and public innovation, contributing to major transitions (ecological, energy, digital) in territories; A link actor between the public service and the world of higher education, to introduce engineering careers in the service of territories. By participating in the INSA forum, the AITF aims to: raise awareness of the diversity of technical professions in local public service, present internship, job, and career opportunities offered to young engineers, and inspire a desire to engage in the service of the public interest through concrete and meaningful missions. Joining the AITF means integrating a dynamic network, sharing knowledge, and participating in building the territories of tomorrow.
